Spooky Cool

Spooky Cool is an experimental, indie-rock group founded by Zac Hryciak, Lee Spratley and Sean Williams in 2014. I was asked to join the group in 2016 as the lead guitarist.

Since joining the band, I've taken on the role as band manager and am the point of contact for press, booking and various outreach. As a band, we have played at the National, The Broadberry and many other venues around Richmond. Notably we have toured with Lucy Dacus and played alongside Girlpool, Palm, J.Roddy and the Business, The Blow, Ava Luna, and NO BS! Brass Band. Our debut record "Every Thing Ever" was released June 2018.

Majjin Boo

Majjin Boo is a indie rock band started by myself and Frank Roberts in 2015. I am the manager of the group and play lead guitar. We just finished recording our debut record with Michael Hegner (Julien Baker). We are currently getting the record mixed with Mike Sapone (Brand New, Taking Back Sunday, The Piano Becomes the Teeth) and mastered by Brett Romnes (Brand New, The Movie Life, Sorority Noise, Prawn).

Our debut album is set to release in October 2019 via Egghunt Records (Lucy Dacus, Minor Poet, Camp Howard).

When I was 18 to 22, I became very consumed by electronic music production. The endless possibilities that could be made from sourcing sounds from not just traditional instruments but electricity and the whole internet and world took me down a rabbit hole. These 30+ songs are my experimentation with exploring electronic music.

Although I still use Ableton to compose music, I use it for producing and mixing bands. I still use the creative techniques I learned from composing electronic music into almost all the production that I do today.
