The Ask:
Student teams at VCU’s Brandcenter were tasked with developing and constructing a Rube Goldberg machine. The machine had to execute a simple task and act as a holiday window display for a well-know brand, relating to and furthering the brand in a festive style. Our group was tasked with creating a machine for Nike to explore how the brand “Just Does” Christmas. Our team was awarded 1st place for best overall concept and execution of the Rube Goldberg machine.

The Concept:
When it comes to performing at your top level in any setting, Nike is there with you. To be at the top of your game, whether it be on the field or off, a person has to work hard day in and day out to achieve peak performance.

The Strategy:
There are no days off.
